The products of our Kapego, DEKO-LIGHT and Reprofil brands are manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and are subject to regular inspections during and after production. We underline this quality promise, in accordance with the following conditions, by granting a manufacturer's guarantee of 5 years from the invoice date 01.10.2018 and for goods purchased within the EU. The statutory warranty claims, in particular the warranty claims according to Section 437 German Civil Code (BGB) remain unaffected by this. Our General Terms and Conditions apply.

• The products must be used in accordance with the specified product and application specifications (according to the data sheet and product standards) and installed and commissioned professionally, if necessary according to the installation instructions,
• The limit values for the mains voltage and the ambient temperatures, especially when used outdoors, including solar radiation, must not be exceeded or fallen below,
• No changes/modifications may be made to the product,
• The product must not be exposed to any loads other than those intended (e.g. cleaning agents, alkalis, acids, road salt, etc.) or extreme environmental conditions (e.g. seawater, chlorinated water, desert influences, etc.),
• The guarantee is valid for a maximum operating time of 4,500 hours/year, which corresponds to the standard market value for professional applications,
• Prior written agreement and authorisation from Deko-Light is required for use in industrial operations,
• A reduction in luminous flux and colour tolerance during the life cycle of an LED corresponds to the current state of the art and is therefore not covered by the guarantee.

• Light sources (conventional, separately replaceable and LED retrofit),
• Customised products,
• Reduced goods (from sale and special offer lists),
• batteries,
• merchandise sold by Deko-Light under third-party names,
• Damage attributable to user fault,
• Damage, in particular age-related changes that do not impair the function of the product (e.g. changes to the paintwork/surface, material properties, cracks, scratches, chipping, etc.),
• Damage due to improper or inappropriate use, application or assembly,
• Damage caused by dirt and moisture due to lack of cleaning / maintenance,
• Damage due to power supply conditions, including overvoltage or undervoltage, voltage peaks, harmonics, etc,
• Damage due to force majeure, mechanical violence and vandalism,
• Components and parts that are subject to natural wear and tear, such as seals, plastic parts, connecting cables,
• Indirect damage arising in connection with the rectification of defects (e.g. for dismantling and installing the luminaires, travelling, scaffolding, damage due to operational failure). Furthermore, any liability for damages is excluded, in particular liability for consequential damage. The statutory claims for defects, in particular the warranty claims according to Section 437 German Civil Code (BGB) remain unaffected by this.

• Please register the product for RMA, stating the defect and the invoice or delivery note number, at service@deko-light.com or by telephone on 07248-9271620.
• Then send the defective goods together with the RMA documents to us free of charge for inspection.
• The product will be checked upon receipt. We will contact you if we have any queries.
• Once we have checked the product and identified the defect, we will repair the product accordingly or replace it if necessary. If this is not possible or if the product is no longer available, we reserve the right to issue you with a corresponding credit note instead.

Warranty services (repair or replacement) do not extend the warranty period of a product. The warranty does not apply to failures that have already been remedied under the warranty by replacement, repair or price reduction. The legal relationship in connection with the guarantee shall be governed exclusively by German law to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of fulfilment and jurisdiction for all claims and disputes arising from or in connection with the contractual relationship is the administrative headquarters of the company, provided the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law.
