For several generations, the name Optik Eberle has stood for high-quality eyewear and hearing aids. As part of the renovation of their branch in Remchingen, Baden-Württemberg, DEKO-LIGHT took over the complete lighting design – based on a detailed floor plan as well as the customer’s specific wishes and requirements.

In addition to the precise illumination of the eyewear displays and other products, the goal was to create a modern ambience with an open and welcoming atmosphere – enhancing the in-store experience for both customers and staff alike.

General lighting for the 111 m² space with a ceiling height of 3 meters is provided by glare-free LED recessed panels with a color temperature of 4,000 K. Discreet 3-phase track spots are used to illuminate the eyewear displays; they can be flexibly positioned along the track system and are both rotatable and tiltable. Another light source and central design element is the integrated PLANO system, consisting of profile, LED modules, and an aluminum body. Formed into two square shapes, it was suspended from the ceiling in the main room.

DEKO-LIGHT was responsible for both the lighting design and the 3D visualization of the lighting concept. Thanks to the growing integration of the DEKO-LIGHT luminaire portfolio into DIALux, the final implementation matched the preliminary lighting calculations and visualizations down to the smallest detail.
