DEKO-LIGHT was founded in 1993 as a sole proprietorship in the dining room of the former managing director Werner Spieß. In more than 30 years, DEKO-LIGHT has developed into a lighting specialist for the electrical trade. In the meantime our team now comprises more than 55 employees in Baden-Württemberg and other colleagues in the various production countries. We can therefore proudly look back on our history with pride, while constantly facing new challenges in a future-orientated and forward-looking manner in order to offer our customers high-quality products and reliable service to our customers.

After making a name for ourselves in our original market of Germany with DEKO-LIGHT, we have greatly expanded our reach and opened up new markets in recent years. We now operate successfully in many parts of Europe and beyond. In 2009, we also opened an office in Hong Kong so we could be close to our production sites. From there, we manage the entire quality assurance process to ensure the highest quality of our products, which we successfully pass on to our customers.

The DEKO-LIGHT Academy offers a home for all lighting enthusiasts - from electricians and technicians to architects, planners and salespeople. As an independent training and further education programme for the light and lighting sector, the seminars and workshops at the DEKO-LIGHT Academy cover a wide and varied range of topics: technical basics, reading architectural plans, the practical interpretation of product data sheets and current lighting trends, as well as the latest trends in lighting technology and the planning of comprehensive smart home solutions or complex bus control systems for the private and commercial sector. Linear light is becoming increasingly important. DEKO-LIGHT has been involved in shaping this development from the very beginning and will cover this area with specialised training courses, as well as the accompanying topics of marketing and sales.
