USE LED-LIGHT STRIPS TO SET INDIVIDUAL ACCENTS IN THE INTERIOR
INDIRECT LIGHTING WITH MULTIPLE USES
WHITE IS NOT EQUAL TO WHITE
LED stripes are available in versions that can reproduce different colour temperatures. However, white is not always the same as white. "The decisive factor is colour temperature, from bright working light to mood and accent lighting", explains Klaus-Peter Gommel of DEKO-LIGHT. "A basic distinction needs to be made between warm white, net white and cool white". This also influences the typical areas of application: Warm white light is well suited for living rooms and bedrooms, neutral white is ideal for bathrooms and kitchens, cool white for task rooms. Those who want to remain flexible can use LED strips with warm white and cool white LEDs that can be individually adjusted via a controller.
LIGHTING CONTROL TO SUIT EVERY MOOD
The continuous rows with energy-saving and long-life LED technology are available in different versions: 1-channel strips can only reproduce one colour, 2-channel strips allow switching between two colours and so on. In addition to the actual continuous row system and the profile for the cover, the do-it-yourselfer also needs a power supply unit and a controller for installation, with the option of dimming depending on the requirements and design of the LED strip. In our online shop you will find an overview of different versions of the versatile light sources. Thus, the residents can always create different moods, for example with changing light colours, or even dim the intensity of the lighting as desired or to suit the time of day. While a simple switch for switching on and off is all that is needed for 1-channel strips, multicoloured strip lighting can be controlled from a smartphone, for example, using a remote control or suitable apps.
